“ Our second time in McConnelsville and our first time at Chatterbox Tavern. We enjoyed our meal very much. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had the haddock sandwich platter and the salmon. Both were delicious and prepared to perfection. We expected the broccoli slaw to be great but it was just average. Our other sides - onion rings, broccoli, and sweet potato fries were great. We brought home a couple of desserts because they sounded too good to pass up. While it is not likely for us to be in McConnelsville again, if we are ever anywhere close, this place is worth a little extra travel. Quality of the food and experience are more important than price to us, but others may be glad to know that this restaurant is reasonably priced and a good value for the price. ”
